BMW xenon light, left fault codes
The 13 fault codes the xenon light, left can store, and what each one means. Some codes mean different things in different versions of the module; tap a code to see which applies to your car.
On: 3 Series (E46)
- 000A XENL: Spark voltage not in permitted range
- 000B XENL: Spark voltage outside permitted range
- 000C XENL: Lamp has gone out
- 000D XENL: Lamp has gone out several times
- 0014 XENL: Ignition unsuccessful
- 0015 XENL: Ignition device not connected or faulty
- 001E XENL: Control-module fault (µC internal error)
- 001F XENL: Control-module fault (hardware error in control unit)
- 0020 XENL: Short circuit at output of control module
- 0021 XENL: Auxiliary ignition voltage faulty
- 0028 XENL: Overvoltage cutout > 19 volts
- 0029 XENL: SW wiring harness or supply lead to SW has excessive resistance
- 002A XENL: Undervoltage term. 15 < 7.5 volts
