BMW reversing camera fault codes
The 21 fault codes the reversing camera can store, and what each one means. Some codes mean different things in different versions of the module; tap a code to see which applies to your car.

- A808 RFK: Internal control-module fault (control unit)
- A809 RFK: Internal control-module fault (EOL checksum)
- A80A RFK: Output, optical heating, faulty
- A80B RFK: Video cable RGB faulty
- A80C RFK: Video cable CVBS faulty
- A80D RFK: Operating voltage incorrect
- A80E RFK: Ambient temperature too high
- A811 RFK: Transport mode active
- A812 No message, receiver RFK, transmitter CAS (intake flaps)
- A813 No message, receiver RFK, transmitter FRM
- A814 No message (steering wheel angle), RFK receiver, DSC transmitter
- A815 No message, receiver RFK, transmitter PDC (status)
- A816 No message, receiver RFK, transmitter PDC (distance)
- A817 RFK: Steering-wheel angle invalid
- A818 RFK: PDC data invalid
- A819 No message from ETC control unit, RFK receiver, ETC/HIM transmitter
- A81A No message (vehicle speed), RFK receiver, DSC transmitter
- A81B No message (distance traveled), RFK receiver, DSC transmitter
- A81C No message, receiver RFK, transmitter CAS (terminal status)
- E6C4 RFK: K-CAN line fault
- E6C7 RFK: K-CAN communication fault
