BMW combox emergency call fault codes
The 34 fault codes the combox emergency call can store, and what each one means. Some codes mean different things in different versions of the module; tap a code to see which applies to your car.

- A9E9 CBX-ECALL: Transport mode active
- A9F3 CBX-ECALL: Internal control unit fault (unable to write to flash memory)
- A9F4 CBX-ECALL: Internal control unit fault (unable to read from flash memory)
- A9F5 CBX-ECALL: Internal control unit fault (access to flash memory not possible)
- A9F6 CBX-ECALL: Internal control unit fault (erasing flash memory was not possible)
- A9FA CBX-ECALL: No communication with GPS receiver
- A9FC CBX-ECALL: No communication with internal receiver module
- A9FE CBX-ECALL: No access to internal SIM card
- AA00 CBX-ECALL: SIM card blocked
- AA01 CBX-ECALL: SIM card not unblocked
- AA02 GPS antenna: Short circuit to B+
- AA03 GPS antenna: Open circuit
- AA05 Emergency call LED, fault
- AA06 Emergency call button: Short circuit
- AA07 Emergency call button: Open circuit
- AA08 Microphone 1: Interruption
- AA0A Emergency GSM antenna Open circuit
- AA0B GSM antenna: Open circuit

- AA10 CBX-ECALL: Airbag Alive signal defective
