BMW applications fault codes
The 43 fault codes the applications can store, and what each one means. Some codes mean different things in different versions of the module; tap a code to see which applies to your car.

- A04A CCC-A: Safety violation (root certificate in browser is invalid)
- A04B CCC-A: Safety violation (the requested security level is not available at the WAP gateway)
- A04C CCC-A: Safety violation (the OU field of the loaded WAP certificate is invalid)
- A04D CCC-A: Radio network not supported
- A04E CCC-A: Rotation rate sensor, internal fault (gyro outputs outside of specification)
- A04F CCC-A: No speedo signal but GPS position change
- A050 CCC-A: Too many speedo pulses
- A051 CCC-A: GPS direction and direction of travel do not correspond
- A052 Large or frequent position jumps (obsolete)
- A053 CCC-A: Control-module fault (oscillator values outside specification range)
- A054 CCC-A: GPS antenna not connected
- A055 CCC-A: Short circuit at GPS antenna connection
- A056 CCC-A: Control-module fault (no connection to GPS DSP)
- A057 CCC-A: CCC time not equal to GPS time
- A058 CCC-A: Rotation rate sensor fault during self-test
- A059 CCC-A: Rotation rate sensor issues incorrect signal
- A05A CCC-A: Rotation rate sensor, internal fault (gyro permanently outputs V)
- A05B CCC-A: General rotation rate sensor fault
- A05C CCC-A: Rotation rate sensor, internal fault (unspecified gyro error)
- A05D CCC-A: Unknown speedo fault
- A05E Unknown soft event
- A05F CCC-A: Control-module fault (illegal hardware interrupts)
- A060 CCC-A: Control-module fault (HIP RAM error during self-test)
- A061 CCC-A: Control-module fault (HIP Checksum error during ROM test)
- A062 CCC-A: No connection to HIP module
- A063 CCC-A: System fault (internal software error)
- A064 HIP: Error releasing a semaphore
- A065 HIP: Error deleting a message queue
- A066 HIP: Error deleting a task
- A067 HIP: Error suspending a task
- A6E8 HIP: Error resuming a task
- A6E9 HIP: Error creating a semaphore
- A6EA HIP: Error connecting to an IO cell
- A6EB HIP: Error creating a task
- A6EC HIP: Error allocating memory
- A6ED HIP: A message queue is full
- A6EE HIP: Error opening the serial port
