BMW active backrest width, driver fault codes

The 30 fault codes the active backrest width, driver can store, and what each one means. Some codes mean different things in different versions of the module; tap a code to see which applies to your car.

  • A708 ALBFA: Undervoltage or overvoltage
  • A709 ALBFA: Actuator, left
  • A70A ALBFA: Internal control-module fault
  • A70B No message from the CAS, receiver active backrest width, driver, transmitter CAS
  • A70C No message from the center console control panel, receiver active backrest width, driver, transmitter center console control panel (seat)
  • A70D No message from the center console control panel, receiver active backrest width, driver, transmitter center console control panel (LBV active)
  • A70E No message from the driver's seat module, receiver active backrest width, driver, transmitter driver's seat module
  • A70F No message from the KOMBI, receiver active backrest width, driver, transmitter KOMBI (outside temperature)
  • A710 No message from the KOMBI, receiver active backrest width, driver, transmitter KOMBI (relative time)
