BMW seat memory, driver fault codes
The 29 fault codes the seat memory, driver can store, and what each one means. Some codes mean different things in different versions of the module; tap a code to see which applies to your car.

- 0000 SMF: Hall sensor, backrest angle: short circuit to ground (and 3 other meanings)
- 0001 SMF: Hall sensor, backrest angle: open circuit (and 2 other meanings)
- 0002 SMF: Hall sensor, backrest angle: short circuit to positive (and 2 other meanings)
- 0003 SMF: Hall sensor, seat height: short circuit to ground (and 3 other meanings)
- 0004 SMF: Hall sensor, seat height: open circuit (and 2 other meanings)
- 0005 SMF: Hall sensor, seat height: short circuit to positive (and 2 other meanings)
- 0006 SMF: Hall sensor, seat angle: short circuit to ground (and 3 other meanings)
- 0007 SMF: Hall sensor, seat angle: open circuit (and 2 other meanings)
