BMW electronic damper control fault codes
The 31 fault codes the electronic damper control can store, and what each one means. Some codes mean different things in different versions of the module; tap a code to see which applies to your car.

- 0000 Steering angle error: difference between sensor angles too large (and 1 other meaning)
- 0001 Steering angle error: derivative of analog signal too large (and 1 other meaning)
- 0002 Steering angle error: activity too low (and 1 other meaning)
- 0003 Steering angle error: 5 Vref external short to ground
- 0004 EDC: Steering-angle signal (5 Vref external short to ground)
- 0010 Error in VF signal (and 1 other meaning)
- 0020 B sensor front: failed (and 1 other meaning)
- 0021 B sensor front: level error (and 1 other meaning)
- 0024 EDC: Acceleration sensor, front (5 Vref external short to ground)
- 0030 B sensor rear: failed (and 1 other meaning)
- 0031 B sensor rear: level error (and 1 other meaning)
- 0034 EDC: Acceleration sensor, rear (B-sensor rear 5 Vref external ground short)
- 0040 B sensor longitudinal: failed
- 0041 B sensor longitudinal: level error
- 0044 EDC: Acceleration sensor, rear (B-sensor rear 5 Vref external ground short)
- 0050 Ucoil: short to ground (and 1 other meaning)
- 0051 Ucoil: short to Terminal 15 (and 1 other meaning)
- 0052 Ucoil: valve line at Terminal 15 (and 1 other meaning)
- 0053 Ucoil: Ucoil not equal to PWM -> control unit defective (and 1 other meaning)
- 0060 Valve error front: interruption Ucoil at valve (and 1 other meaning)
- 0061 Valve error front: interruption both valve lines medium (and 1 other meaning)
- 0062 Valve error front: interruption one valve line medium (and 1 other meaning)
- 0063 Valve error front: interruption both valve lines soft (and 1 other meaning)
