BMW rear-lid lift fault codes
The 9 fault codes the rear-lid lift can store, and what each one means. Some codes mean different things in different versions of the module; tap a code to see which applies to your car.

- 0090 HKL: 01 Internal fault in rear-lid module
- 0091 HKL: 02 Internal fault in rear-lid module
- 0092 HKL: 03 Internal fault in rear-lid module
- 0093 HKL: 04 Activation: relay sticks when opening
- 0094 HKL: 05 actuation: Relay does not operate when open
- 0095 HKL: 06 Activation: relay sticks when closing
- 0096 HKL: 07 Activation: relay does not pick up when closing
- 00A0 HKL: 08 Switching valve
- 00A1 HKL: 09 Tilt switch
